Florida Guard show and the First Muster

Posted by Victoria McDermott on

So we have just returned from St. Augustine and the show for the National Guard Association of Florida. It was a good show. From a business perspective, it was great to have the Command Team highlighted at the Ring of Honor event because it gave us faces to go with the names. The Saturday portion of the show was consistant throughout. Having a full breakfast and lunch in the exhibit hall was perfect because it kept attendees coming in.

From a personal perspective, this is the 450th anniversary of St. Augustine and the Guard Command Team allowed us to witness the dedication of a monument commemorating the First Muster…and we had free reign at the Fountain of Youth historic site… [Personal note…the water from said fountain was not exactly tasty…] That made for a wonderful Friday evening.

It was a busy weekend for sure–thanks Florida Guard!
