This kit includes Seal Beam® lamps for infrared illumination up to 500 yards away.  These lamps can be run either off of a vehicle, or on a SINCGARS battery with the included adapter and carrying case.

It also includes 2 Phantom Hawk® lights for canines, which are attached to the dog’s collar to keep the animal visible during the job (it can also be secured to a human soldier).

This tactical lighting kit was custom designed for the 67th MDD out of Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. The unit needed a kit to illuminate the dogs and handlers during casualty extraction and minefield clearing. After several test kits were sent into the sandbox with great results, this is the lighting kit configuration decided upon by the command.
