PURCHASING PROFESSIONAL

 
About the Job
Job Description:
This position will be report directly to the Director of Government and Military Sales at  our electronic manufacturing company in Rockledge.   This is a key position and requires a very dynamic and highly motivated individual willing and able to multitask and think on her feet.  The successful candidate

Qualifications:
Knowledge and experience as a prior Assistant a bonus.
Proficiency in Excel, Word and Microsoft Outlook.
Knowledge of Quickbooks Enterprise M&E 2017. software a big plus.
Ability to prioritize and multitask, possess exceptional organizational skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work as a team and also manage projects alone.
Confidentiality and integrity.
Military and LE exposure are a plus.
Prior Government Contract experience helpful.
 
Responsibilities:
Our Director is in need of an Exectutive Assistant.  As such, you will keep her calendar, answer multiple phone lines, process orders in our QB program, interact with Production personnel to assure timely delivery of customer orders, interact with customers via phone, email, and web chat. 
You will also monitor forms and worksheets for large Defense Contractors. as well as assisting in entering bids to the US Government.
You will also be involved in planning company events and preparing her trade shows.  
We are an innovative lighting company whose roots date back to 1943 (the last 15 years we have been here in Brevard.)  We design, prototype and manufacture over 500 different types of lights to sell to the U.S. Government, Military, Law Enforcement and to the commercial marketplace.  We are a friendly, family oriented work environment with lots of opportunity to learn and grow.  We work hard and love offering lights "Made in the USA!"

Job Description:
This position will be responsible for planning, pricing and purchasing parts for a small electronic manufacturing company in Rockledge.  This individual will work with our Production Supervisor.  This is a key position and requires a very meticulous person.

Qualifications:
Experience in Purchasing preferred.
Proficiency in Quickbooks, as we use  Enterprise M&E 2017.
Proficiency in Excel, Word and Microsoft Outlook.
Ability to prioritize and multitask, and regotiate with vendors appreciated.
Confidentiality and integrity required.
 
Responsibilities:
Review active Sales Orders.
Match items on order wth BOM (Bills of Material)
Work with Production to determine what parts are needed.
Price parts for best price and delivery, place orders and monitor their arrival for quantity, timeliness and quality. 
 
 
 

BOOKKEEPING/OFFICE STAFF

Job Description:
This position will be responsible for maintaining and accurately recording the day to day financial transaction for a small electronic manufacturing company in Rockledge.  This individual will report directly to the President and Director.  This is a key position and requires a very dynamic and highly motivated individual willing to take on a broad range of important responsibilities.

Qualifications:
Knowledge and experience in accounting, general bookkeeping and legal practices
Knowledge and experience in business administration and office management
Proficiency in Excel, Word and Microsoft Outlook
Knowledge of Quickbooks Enterprise M&E 2017. software a big plus
Ability to prioritize and multitask, possess exceptional organizational skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work as a team and also manage projects alone
Confidentiality and integrity
 
Responsibilities:
Maintain the general ledger and A/R and A/P
Process daily invoicing
Process Daily Shipments
Manage A/R, cash receipts, and bank deposits
Administer credit and collections activities
Process all A/P invoices, maintain A/P files and process weekly check run
Monitor and manage cash flow
Perform month-end GL closings
Produce monthly financial reports
Process payroll
Assist the owners in planning and executing company events

We are looking to add someone to our team that can help us transition into new areas of opportunity.    We are a small family business that has been making lights for over 70 years.   Must be willing to be flexible and work on several projects at once.  Must be patriotic and supporting of our Military and LEOs.  You will be working with potential customers online and over the phone.  Travel may be offered to you.   We will have you work with our team to see where your skill set can help us grow.
